This shows that ANYONE can be a cheerleader. I am so sick of everyone stereo typing us! Not all of us are stick thin. I was talking to my mom about being nervous for trying out for the University of Alabama cheer team because I’m stocky. When she told me about this girl that didn’t make the team because she was TOO THIN and they wanted short stocky girls! I can’t even express how much my self esteem went up! So keep cheering no matter what! ^^this girl right here is a beautiful cheerleader and no one has the right to tell her different.

this girl is truly my inspiration because i get so much shit every day for being a “fat” cheerleader, when it doesnt matter because im front and center for the dance and im on three teams in my gym…i just wish people realized.

she is just as good as every other girl on that team and all girls on other teams on the same level. who cares about shape and size. were all beautiful and great cheerleaders. no matter what,

I totally agree with this post, except why would a cheer team not let someone on because they are too thin? That’s just as horrible as saying only thin girls can cheer..

^college teams do a lot because they want a “good image” and on coed teams they want the girls as small as possible and the boys to be super muscular.. It leads to a lot of Ed’s and drug problems. I read a book about it

I agree.. Sort of.
I think she is capable of doing much more then holding feet and stuff. I think she’d be able to do some amazing stunts. Even though people say the attention is in the point. I disagree for pyramids. Really, the people who are flipping and stuff, get lots of attention. I’d love to see her doing some of that.
